She attended Jamnabai Narsee School, where she excelled at soccer and then went on to attend Oxford University and obtained a Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology. She is also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and was trained by her mother, who is a famous exponent of that particular dance form herself.Amongst her friends at Bollywood are Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. She likes to work out and listen to music.She is 5 ft 6 inches tall.Esha is a fitness fanatic and her physique is showcased in Dhoom which was her biggest hit.
